01-Non-deployment: failure to send the worker abroad as promised.
02-Trafficking
03-Fees: excessive fees charged by the recruiters and placement agencies and agents.
04-Information: false or misleading information provided by the recruiter or employer to the worker.
05-Force separation-the receiving disregards the right of the worker and family members to live in the same state or to visit
06-Forcible confinement - the worker is physically confined to his/her place of work or other location.
07-Restricted mobility - the worker is not allowed to move about freely.
08-Confiscation of documents - confiscation/deprivation of the worker's passport/travel/identity documents.
09-Choice of residence - the worker is denied the right to choose his/her own place of residence.
10-Renewal of documents: the worker has difficulty renewing visas or work permits.
11-Forced labour - all work that is involuntarily exacted from a person under the threat of any penalty.
12-Debt bondage - situations that force a person to work for an employer in order to pay debts.
13-Contract substitution - the worker is forced to sign/accept a new contract upon arrival in the country
14-Wages - the worker is not payed for work performed or payment is delayed. The worker is underpaid.
15-Deductions - illegal deductions are made from the worker's salary. (e.g. placement fees or compulsory savings).
16-Benefits - the worker is denied benefits to which he/she is entitled.
17-Dismissal - worker is dismissed without cause, notice and/or benefits
18-Employment discrimination - any distinction/exclusion/preference made on prohibited grounds of discrimination.
19-Scapegoating/racism in the media directed towards migrant workers.
20-Benefits & services - the worker/family are denied access to social security and other social benefits.
21-National standards do not apply to migrant workers and families such as minimum wage.
22-Choice of employment - the worker is denied the right to change employer or employment.
23-Freedom of association - the worker's right to join or form a worker's organization is infringed.
24-Extra tasks-the worker is forced to perform tasks for which s/he was not recruited and /or not stipulated in the contract
25-Hours - the worker has excessive or irregular working hours.
26-Leisure - the worker is given no or insufficient leisure hours.
27-The worker is not provided with adequate occupational health and safety information or training in his/her own language.
28-Inspection - there is lack of adequate workplace inspection.
29-Exposure to risks - the worker is exposed to occupational risks that compromise her/him.
30-Health and safety - the worker is not provided with protective gear or equipment.
31-Medical care - medical care is not provided or is inadequate.
32-Psychological abuse - including verbal abuse and denial of the right to privacy.
33-Physical abuse - including beatings, mandatory medical testing and forced drug consumption.
34-Sexual abuse and harassment, including rape and forced prostitution.
35-Other forms of discriminiation such as interference in religious and cultural practices and right to family reunification.
36-Family responsibilities - the worker's terms of employment do not take his/her family responsibilities into account.
37-The worker is prohibited from family reunification while other non-nationals are not similarly prohibited
38-The worker's reproductive rights are infringed.
39-Torture - the worker is subjected to torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
40-Legal rights-the workers legal rights are violated (due process, consult an attorney, trial before an impartial body).
41-Corruption - corrupt judiciary or law enforcement authorities impede the worker from exercising her/his legal rights.
42-Denial of legal status/national identity of children born in the receiving country or denial of other children's rights
43-Expulsion - the worker is forcibly repatriated to his/her home country. May be forced to pay for the cost of repatriation.
44-Reintegration - issues pertaining to the worker's reintegration into his/her own country.
